Why You Shouldn’t Catch a Leprechaun!

Thought to have emerged in the 8th century among the Celtics, Leprechauns are known to be members of the fairy family. They too are tiny beings, only 2-3 feet tall. Living in nature with the Fae they are said to call hollow tree trunks, rock caves, rabbit holes and other brushy areas their home. They hold magical and mysterious qualities.
Catching a Leprechaun is near impossible since they can vanish into thin air. It is believed that by catching one, the Leprechaun will grant you three wishes to be released. A misconception about Leprechauns is that they are sneaky, devious, drunk, evil beings. That is not true at all, however trying to catch one and force your wishes is where their trickery can and will be seen. Leprechauns do not like greed which makes them the perfect protector of the infamous “Pot of Gold” and grantor of wishes!
When you connect with the Leprechauns in the correct way (and not force them into granting your wishes by trying to catch them) they are happy to grant wishes that are in alignment with the highest good for all.
The entire month of March is the perfect time to acknowledge the Leprechauns and ask for help in manifesting. And of course, on St. Patrick’s Day itself is even more fun & awesome!
Here’s how to manifest 3 wishes with the help of the Leprechauns:
If possible, do this exercise outside. Grab a piece of paper and the shiniest penny you can find. I like to use a special piece of green paper or stationery for this. You can also decorate your paper with green & gold glitter if you like. By the way, kids love doing this manifesting exercise.
Decide on 3 things you wish to manifest that will also benefit at least one other person. You can choose a wish that will benefit the world or a wish that will benefit you personally, but the wish must also benefit at least one other.
Now you want to put ALL your manifesting energy toward the good your wish will bring to the other person or persons. Spend a few minutes imagining your wish being fulfilled from the other person’s perspective. How happy they will feel, what relief they will have, what benefits they will now share with others or the world since your wish came true.
By shifting your focus to others, your 3 wishes will be considered favorable to the Leprechaun.
You must begin by writing a simple gratitude sentence such as: “Thank you beautiful Leprechauns for assisting in bringing forth these positive wishes for the benefit of others!”
Intuitively find the place in your yard or the woods where you would choose to live if you were a Leprechaun. Bury your letter and place the shiny penny on top of the earth. The sparkle of the penny will certainly catch the Leprechaun’s eye. These little beings will add your penny to their Pot of Gold and in return assist you magickally with bringing your wishes to fruition.
Happy St Patty’s Day Everyone!
